What is your idea to improve lives with animals?

Hearing a cat purr can lower blood pressure and reduce anxiety. Imagine what a cat can do to create harmony, love us on good days and bad, teach children responsibility and care taking, and make us laugh! But it's mutual. Placing once feral cats with people also saves their lives. A perfect match.

How will you use the $2,500?

Feral to Family: Stray Cats and Kittens Adopted into Loving Homes. mFeral cats need not only love and patience, they also need medical care. Stray cats and kittens will be dewormed, vaccinated, treated for individual needs, and rehabilitated. Rehab could consist of having volunteers talking to the cats to get them used to humans’ voices, to sitting and petting or holding them, to teaching them to play with cat toys, and how to get along with other cats and dogs. When the cats and kittens are ready for their forever homes, we will let people in the community apply for their adoption. They will be cared for, emotionally, medically, and physically until the time that they transition from our care into living the Good Family Life!
